10G BIDI SFP+ 80km
The TEO-B10G-S45(54)-80 is a bi-directional transceiver solution operating directly on a single-fiber without the need for a separate optical filter. This is achieved by having two transceivers that inject different wavelengths into the same single-fiber. The solution thus consists of two transceivers; TEO-B10G-S45-80 and TEO-B10G-S54-80, operating at 1490nm and 1550nm respectively. TEO-B10G-S45-80 uses 1490nm EML transmitter and 1550nm APD receiver, TEO-B10G-S54-80 uses 1550nm EML transmitter and 1490nm APD receiver. Using a single-fiber solution provides a cost-efficient solution for interconnect and it simplifies the patching since no separate transmit/receive direction has to be taken into account. The distance performance of the transceiver pair exceeds the IEEE 802.3ae ZR/ZW-standard (80km), providing a bridgeable distance of up to 80km for 10GbE-LAN and 10GbE-WAN services.
