800G OSFP

2024-07-01

TEOSCO launched 800G OSFP SR8, DR8 Optical Transceivers and 800G OSFP AOC Cables for different reach and applications. They comprise high-performance, hot-pluggable, small size, high-speed and low power consumption features. The 800G OSFP transceivers are compliant to the latest releases of the OSFP MSA. The firmware is compatible with CMIS 5.0 and newer versions. Our products are characterized by high quality and high reliability. This is achieved through meticulous design and the use of superior materials, ensuring outstanding product performance in the market. They are a top-notch solution for those requiring blazing-fast data transmission in their network setups.

The 800G OSFP SR8 optical transceiver is designed for use in 800 Gigabit Ethernet links over 60m on OM3 or 100m on OM4 multi-mode fiber. The module has 8 independent electrical input/output channels operating at 106.25Gbps (PAM4) per channel. This transceiver consists of two transmitter/receiver units, with each operating on 850nm wavelength. The transmitter path of the module incorporates a PAM4 re-timer ASIC with two 4-channel modulator drivers and 8 modulated lasers. On the receiver path, it consists of 8 photodiodes and two 4-channel TIAs, along with the PAM4 re-timer. The electrical interface of the module is compliant with the 800GAUI-8 interface as defined by IEEE 802.3ck, and it is also compliant with the OSFP MSA. It finds utility in various network applications, including Internet protocol switches and routers.

The 800G OSFP DR8 optical transceiver is designed for use in 800 Gigabit Ethernet links over 500m on single-mode fiber. The module has 8 independent electrical input/output channels operating at 106.25Gbps (PAM4) per channel. This transceiver converts 8 channels of 106.25Gbps (PAM4) electrical input data to 8 channels of 106.25Gbps (PAM4) parallel optical signals. Reversely, on the receiver side, 8 channels of parallel optical signals of 106.25Gbps (PAM4) converts to 8 channels of 106.25Gbps (PAM4) electrical output data. The central wavelengths of 8 parallel channels are 1310nm, and per channel operating at 106.25Gbps. The electrical interface of the module is compliant with the 800GAUI-8 interface as defined by IEEE 802.3ck, and compliant with the OSFP MSA. This type of optical module is commonly used in data centers, cloud computing, high-performance computing, and large-scale networks to achieve high-speed data transmission and communication.
